'Slate' style Embroidery Frame-12 inch rollers, 18 inch slats

90 USD
Slate frames are among the best way to embroider fabrics, as well as VERY historically correct. Recommended highly by the Royal School of Needlework in all of their books, these slate frames hold the fabric taught without leaving annoying hoop-marks. The frames are made of solid maple in the USA, and come with 2 rollers (the top and bottom pieces with the mortised holes for the slats to slide through), 2 slats (the side pieces with the tensioning holes) 4 tapered pegs, linen lacing cord, and instructions.

The sampler on the model is obviously not's a piece I am working on now!
It is actually on the 16" model, but the frames all look essentially alike.
